AL-LAD (6-Allyl-6-nor-lysergsäurediethylamid) ist ein synthetisches Psychedelikum aus der Klasse der Lysergamide.

AL-LAD wurde erstmals 1984 von Andrew J. Hoffman und David Nichols als Teil einer Reihe von LSD-Analoga und -Derivaten untersucht. AL-LAD wurde später von Alexander Shulgin in seinem Buch TiHKAL („Tryptamines, die ich gekannt und geliebt habe“) dokumentiert, in dem es als „eine von mehreren sehr potenten Verbindungen in einer großen Reihe von Nor-LSD-Analoga“ beschrieben wird.

AL-LAD ist ein halbsynthetisches Alkaloid aus der Familie der Lysergamide. AL-LAD ist das strukturelle Analogon der Lysergsäure, mit einer funktionellen N,N-Diethylamidgruppe, die an RN der chemischen Struktur gebunden ist. Die chemische Struktur von AL-LAD enthält auch ein bicyclisches Hexahydroindol, das mit einer bicyclischen Chinolingruppe fusioniert ist.

AL-LAD enthält keine Methylgruppe, die an R6 seines Nor-Lysergsäure-Gerüsts substituiert ist. (Eine Methylgruppe ist ein von Methan abgeleitetes Alkyl, das ein Kohlenstoffatom enthält, das an drei Wasserstoffatome gebunden ist). Damit unterscheidet sich AL-LAD von seinem strukturell ähnlichen Freund LSD. Im Gegensatz zu LSD wird AL-LAD bei R6 durch eine Allylgruppe substituiert. Diese Allylgruppe besteht aus einer Methylenbrücke, die an einen Vinylsubstituenten gebunden ist.

AL-LAD wird oft zusammen mit anderen Lysergamiden verkauft, die in Struktur und Funktion LSD ähneln – wie 1P-LSD und ETH-LAD.
